Duck and Cover is a 1951 civil defense short film, featuring Bert the Turtle in an animated sequence that begins the film, which shows him being attacked by a monkey holding a stick with dynamite tied on it and then hiding in his shell as it explodes. It is primarily composed of live-action footage, but also is bookended by another animated sequence, where Bert recaps the viewers on what to do. The film is in the public domain.
